About Us
Into Action Group is a group of Alcoholics Anonymous that creates welcoming spaces for spiritual growth, fellowship, and practical action.
Since 2025, we have held Saturday morning workshops in Northeast Ohio and have continued to grow into several types of gatherings.
Our gatherings currently include spiritual workshops, Eleventh Step workshops, and the annual Your Legacy Conference.
Every two months, we hold a workshop built around a spiritual book, reading it through the lens of the Big Book. We understand that we operate in a spiritual kindergarten, so we try to keep things simple while continuing to enlarge and perfect our spiritual condition.
Every three months, we hold an Eleventh Step workshop centered on prayer and meditation. For each gathering, a woman and a man are asked to serve as chairpersons. They shape the format themselves, often assembling a panel to share experience and sometimes inviting someone to lead a guided meditation.
Once a year, we hold the Your Legacy Conference. Our first conference will be held July 30–August 1, 2027, bringing our mission, vision, and values together around the healing grace of a loving Power greater than ourselves.
Our Spiritual and Eleventh Step workshops are open to anyone: newcomers, families, friends, and anyone curious about a spiritual way of living. There is no cost to attend. A basket is passed in the spirit of our Seventh Tradition, and those contributions fund the next gathering. That simple model has carried us from a church hall in Mentor to a hall in Cleveland that seats thousands.
To create spaces where alcoholics can explore spiritual principles, share experience, and take action toward a life of deeper meaning and connection, rooted in the principles of our fellowship and in timeless works such as The Greatest Thing in the World by Henry Drummond.
A community where no one doubts their worth. We gather in ordinary rooms—a church hall, a fellowship room, and, in 2027, a hall in Cleveland that seats thousands—and we do the same thing in each: strive to perfect and enlarge our spiritual condition.
Helping God’s Children See Their Infinite Worth. This is the sentence we measure our work against. If a workshop, a panel, or a weekend does not serve that purpose, we do it differently next time.
